The Philosophy
My path to becoming a Whole-Healthcare Practitioner began with a deep curiosity about what it truly means to grow and learn and overcome life’s challenges – those experiences that either expand us or cause us to contract- and how they are expressed through the physical body, mind, and emotions.
Growing up in South Africa, dance was my first love. From an early age, I discovered how profoundly breath, movement, and our environment influence our wellbeing. This sparked a lifelong exploration into the body’s remarkable ability to hold and release everything we have experienced, from the moment of conception through every stage of life.
Along that journey, I came to an inner knowing: healing is most powerful when we work with the body’s innate intelligence rather than against it.
My passion for understanding the human experience led me around the world. During my early adulthood, I completed over 500 hours of training in yoga, meditation, and breathwork while living in Vancouver, Canada, and Rishikesh, India. In Thailand, I became certified in Traditional Thai Massage and Thai Reflexology.
Returning to South Africa, I continued expanding my practice by becoming a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, Veltheim Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner, and Access Bars® Practitioner. Together, these modalities brought everything into alignment, allowing me to support each of my clients as a whole rather than focusing solely on symptoms.
Beyond my work, I am the mother of two adult daughters, and a young son, born in Kuwait in 2020.
Living and raising a family across South Africa, Canada, and the Middle East has given me a deep appreciation for the many ways healing looks throughout life. Every culture, every season, and every stage offers its own lessons, reinforcing my belief that true wellbeing comes from honouring the unique journey of each individual.
Motherhood, relationships, and life itself have been my greatest teachers. They have continually shaped my understanding of what it means to cultivate balance, resilience, compassion, and presence, essentially how to embrace and live as a spiritual being having a human experience.
Kuwait has been my home since 2018. I have quietly built my practice one client, one session, and one relationship at a time.
That quiet, steady growth has been intentional. It reflects how I believe this work should be held: every session is private, safe, and deeply respectful – a space free from judgement, where you are met with compassion, presence, and genuine care.
That philosophy lives at the heart of everything we offer at SOMA Wellness.
Myself and The SOMA Team look forward to welcoming you into our community and walking alongside you on your own journey toward greater health, balance, and vitality.
Peace & Light,
